Multiply Your American Airlines AAdavantage Program Miles with UK Travel
Heres an opportunity for members of the American Airlines AAdvantage Program to double, or even triple their frequent flyer miles with travel to the UK.
By flying to any of Americans British gateways (Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, or Stansted) through May 15, AAdvantage members who register for this promotion can receive up to 30,000 bonus miles per trip in addition to miles normally accrued. For a single round-trip booking in Business or First Class, members will earn 10,000 bonus miles. Take a second trip in either Business or First Class, and the bonus jumps to 20,000 miles. A third trip earns 30,000 bonus miles. Total bonus AAdvantage miles for three trips: 60,000 miles.

Add the bonus miles to the regular accrual, and things get interesting. A New York-London round-trip is about 7,000 miles. Include a 50% bonus for First Class, and were at 10,500. Three trips will put 31,500 in the bank. Add your 60,000 bonus miles and youll have the 90,000 required for a free Business Class round-trip to Europe (with 1,500 miles to spare). From Los Angeles, at 11,000 miles per trip, youll amass 109,000 milesmore than enough for two future First Class upgrades to Europe, or two First Class tickets for travel within the continental US.
Travel must be booked and completed by May 15, 2008. For terms and conditions visit Americans website: http://www.aa.com/apps/netSAAver/ViewPromotionsDetail.jhtml?repositoryId=16067629
