Mexicana Airlines flies to many destinations in North, Central and South America, and the Caribbean; and it is the leading airline for flights between Mexico and the US. But here’s a little known aspect of the carrier: It provides for a strategy to net discount Business and First Class travel through its mileage program, with a variety of airlines.

You can access flights on both Lufthansa and Singapore Airlines for significant discounted Business and First Class travel to Africa through its Frecuenta mileage program’s buy-points program. Miles are a bargain, at 2.2 ¢/each, versus the usual rate of the 2.5 to 3.5 ¢ that most airlines charge.
