Business Class seats are not all the same. The seat-width and recline often depend on the type of aircraft.
Continental's Business Class service is offered on international flights on B777, B767 and B757 aircraft, but the seats are not all the same. And while all Continental Business Class cabins offer sleeper seats and a variety of entertainment options, they vary widely by aircraft.
Be sure to look for a flight operated by a B777 for Continental Airlines best Business Class seats, which are usually on routes to Frankfurt, London and Paris.

The reason is the B777 Business Class sleeper seat, which reclines to a near-flat 170 degrees (compared to the B757s Business Class seat at 156 degrees). Measuring 22 inches wide, this is one of the widest business class seats available for flights to Europe. In the fully extended position, it offers six and a half feet of sleeping space.

I recently flew First class on Delta from LAX to JFK (Los Angeles to New York). It was shocking that the flight was as awful as it was. Beware. Their First calss (designated First not Business/First) did not even have footrests let alone any other comfort feature on the seats. The distance between my seat and the one in front of me (the pitch) was only slightly better than coach on other airlines. I could go on and on but suffice to say do not fly First on this route. I guarantee you will feel ripped off as I did.
Please send me the Alerts--Thanks.
Recently traveled First Class on Korean Airlines-- from IAD to PVG with a stop in SEL 16 seats and 3 flight attend. they are without a doubt the best in the bus
Flew the 777 to Frankfurt and it is great, but Continental screwed us up and assigned economy seats on return. We held the paper confirmation of First/Business and the supervisors admitted such but "the computer" would not let us be seated in our seats up front. They went empty across the pond. Then our flight home, we got first class (as we had paid for it) on a 737. What a joke. Got the same cheese and crackers that the lounge was serving. I doubt that we will ever consider Continental again....perhaps you should try to avoid too. John
Does anyone know how to get an emergency exit seat over the wing on a Continental flight? I'd gladly pay extra (within reason). When I reserve my seats on-line, the emergency exit seats are blocked - they're only for elite travelers. The ticket agent at the gate wouldn't change my seat assignment, even though I am able-bodied and quite tall.
Can anyone compare the AirFrance Airbus 330 Business Class seats to those on the Continental 777 Business Class? Thanks.
which is better premier economy on virgin or business on continental?
